Member of a criminal gang arrested in Chatra

A gunfight erupted near Karo grounds in Chatra, injuring Jubair Ansari, an alleged member of the Rahul Singh gang. Police, acting on a tip about an impending attack on a coal trader, engaged the criminals. Ansari was shot in the leg and is receiving treatment in Ranchi. A pistol was recovered, and other gang members escaped.
