Mizoram Police observed Police Commemoration Day with solemn parades and tributes to martyrs. While no personnel lost their lives in the past year, 54 Mizoram Police officers have sacrificed their lives since 1966. The day honors the 10 CRPF personnel killed in 1959 defending the national frontier.
