MP government approves first endocrinology department at GMC Bhopal as diabetes cases rise

In response to the increasing prevalence of diabetes and other non-communicable diseases, the Madhya Pradesh government has approved the establishment of the state’s first dedicated endocrinology department at Gandhi Medical College (GMC), Bhopal. This specialized wing aims to provide focused care and address the urgent need for public health interventions, potentially leading to the introduction of DM seats in endocrinology.
