Myanmar-bound fertiliser shipment seized in Mizoram

Agriculture officials in Mizoram’s Lunglei district seized approximately 600 bags of urea suspected to be smuggled to Myanmar. This follows a previous confiscation in August, with the latest seizure occurring in mid-October. The Mizoram Pradesh Youth Congress Committee has accused the state government of facilitating these imports via a new railway service.
