Naac to roll out new accreditation system, to end easy-grade era

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is overhauling India’s accreditation system following past scrutiny. NAAC introduces Basic Level Accreditation for unaccredited institutions and a Maturity Based Graded Level system with stringent parameters. This new system aims to make achieving higher levels of accreditation challenging, ensuring continuous improvement and a more accurate reflection of institutional quality.
