National Teacher Awards 2025: President Murmu honours 45 teachers for excellence in education

President Droupadi Murmu honoured 45 teachers with the National Teacher Awards 2025 in New Delhi, recognising their exceptional contribution to education. Highlighting the importance of education for dignity and progress, she emphasised the role of teachers in building character and capability. President Murmu also stressed girls’ education and Women-Led Development, referring to NEP 2020. She called on educators to help India become a Global Knowledge Superpower through dedication in school, higher, and skill education.
