Neeraj Chopra finished eighth in the men’s javelin throw final at the World Athletics Championships. His best throw was 84.03m. Keshorn Walcott of Trinidad and Tobago won gold. Anderson Peters secured silver, and Curtis Thompson took bronze. Sachin Yadav of India finished fourth with a personal best. Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan ended in tenth place.
