New boats enhance patrolling in Chilika to protect migratory birds

To enhance the protection of migratory birds, Chilika Lake has introduced two new, larger boats for intensified patrolling. Launched by Works Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan, these vessels will be deployed in Satapada and Nalabana bird sanctuary. This increases the total number of patrolling boats to 15, aiming to maintain the success of last winter’s zero bird poaching incidents.
