New hope for Winston-Salem Five as convictions overturned for murdering NBA star Chris Paul’s Grandfather Nathaniel Jones
More than 20 years after the murder of NBA star Chris Paul’s grandfather, Nathaniel Jones, five men accused of the crime pleaded not guilty. The Winston-Salem Five’s convictions were overturned. Christopher Bryant, Jermall Tolliver, and Dorrell Brayboy were released after 12 years. Nathaniel Cauthen and Rayshawn Banner will be released soon.
