New rail line between Bhopal and Ramganj Mandi moves forward with key trial

Railway Safety Commissioner Manoj Arora has finalized the commissioning of the Jarkheda-Shampur section, a key part of the Bhopal-Ramganj Mandi railway line. This 276 km project, costing ₹3,035 crore, will significantly improve connectivity between Bhopal and Kota divisions. The project aims to reduce travel time, lower transportation costs, and enhance access to religious sites, with completion expected by December 2027.
