NHAI cracks down on encroachers who block the path of water creating traffic

To combat highway flooding and traffic congestion, the NHAI has issued notices to approximately 400 establishments encroaching on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway (NH48). These encroachments, coupled with landfill, obstruct natural drainage, leading to water stagnation and traffic snarls. The NHAI warns of penalties and eviction for non-compliance, offering an opportunity for the businesses to present their case.
