Nitish vows to make women economically self-reliant

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar launched a state-wide initiative to empower women, marked by the CM Mahila Rojgar Yojana (CMMRY) launch. He flagged off 250 vehicles to disseminate information about the scheme and past initiatives for women’s empowerment. Under CMMRY, every household woman will receive ₹10,000 to start a business, with further assistance up to ₹2 lakh after assessment.
