NSCN (IM) woman cadre surrenders in Arunachal

A female NSCN (IM) cadre, Shikngam Wangpan, surrendered to Assam Rifles in Arunachal Pradesh following sustained counselling and moral support. This significant surrender, highlighting a humane counter-insurgency approach, could encourage other female militants to abandon violence. She will now undergo rehabilitation to reintegrate into mainstream society.
