Odisha approves formation of 2 additional OISF battalions; creating 2,080 new positions

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has sanctioned the creation of two new battalions for the Odisha Industrial Security Force (OISF), adding 2,080 positions. This expansion, driven by the ‘Utkarsha Odisha-Make in Odisha 2025’ initiative, aims to strengthen security for the state’s rapidly growing industrial sector.
