CM Mohan Charan Majhi lauded the proposed two-tier GST framework as a significant stride towards realizing PM Modi’s vision of a Viksit Bharat. He emphasized that the reforms would spur economic growth, ease burdens on citizens, and strengthen India’s tax system. The exemption of health and life insurance from GST and reduced rates on kendu leaves were particularly welcomed.
