Odisha government approves Rs 240 crore Mahanadi riverfront development project for tourism and ecological enhancement

Odisha government has sanctioned Rs 240 crore for the Mahanadi Riverfront Development Project, aiming to transform riverbanks into vibrant public spaces and tourism hubs. The project, spanning from 2025-26 to 2027-28, will focus on the Mahanadi riverfront in Sambalpur and the Kuakhai and Kushabhadra riverbanks in Bhubaneswar.
