The Odisha government has postponed its decision regarding the remission of sentence for Rabindra Kumar Pal alias Dara Singh, convicted in the Graham Staines murder case. While the State Sentence Review Board assessed around 100 life imprisonment cases, Dara Singh’s matter was deferred.
