Over 1,100 tested HIV positive in Apr-Oct period this year: JSAC

Jharkhand reported over 1,100 new HIV cases between April and October, with East Singhbhum and Ranchi leading the caseload. While nearly 1,100 individuals were linked to treatment, around 18,000 people currently live with HIV in the state. Efforts are underway to combat stigma and improve access to care, though challenges persist.
