Over 1kg heroin seized in Champhai

Mizoram’s excise & narcotics department, aided by Assam Rifles, seized 1.377kg of heroin worth Rs 40.17 lakh near Zokhawthar village, bordering Myanmar. Three individuals from Champhai town, Malsawmkimi, Zarzosanga, and Joseph Lalmuansanga, were arrested. Charged under the NDPS Act, they’ve been remanded to judicial custody.
