Defence ministry has approved acquisition projects worth over Rs 1 lakh crore. The approvals include indigenous construction of mine countermeasure vessels, procurement of quick-reaction surface-to-air missile systems, and intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition & reconnaissance planes.
