To assist visually impaired individuals, a government expert committee has proposed adding QR codes with voice assistance to medicine strips. They also suggested secondary packaging with Braille cards when needed. The CDSCO has released these suggestions for public feedback following representations about the difficulties faced by visually impaired people in reading medicine labels.
