Pantnagar scientists develop long-lasting antibacterial plastic
Researchers at GB Pant University have developed an antibacterial plastic that resists microbial contamination for 72 hours. Infused with antibacterial nanoparticles via liquid carbon dioxide, this biodegradable and non-toxic plastic has applications in healthcare and food packaging. The university has patented the technology and is licensing it to a manufacturer for co-branded products.
