Penalty for not having valid FASTag reduced

Starting November 15, commuters without a valid FASTag will pay 1.25 times the regular toll via UPI, a significant reduction from the current double charge. Furthermore, if electronic toll infrastructure malfunctions, vehicles with functional FASTags can cross without payment.
