Plan for CM’s award for road safety

Odisha government is introducing the Chief Minister’s Award for Road Safety to incentivize performance, with districts reducing accident fatalities by 50% eligible for cash rewards. The ‘traffic warden’ initiative will expand to six high-fatality districts, and driving skills of students above 18 will be monitored through video recordings.
