Plying of overloaded hay-laden trucks prohibited across Shillong

In an effort to enhance safety and reduce litter, Shillong has officially implemented a ban on overloaded hay trucks, as decreed by the district magistrate. This regulation targets the risks of fire hazards posed by electric wires and aims to maintain the cleanliness of the roads. Those who disregard this order will face legal actions under the BNS.
