Prem Kumar unanimously elected Speaker as CM, Tejas lead ovation

Longtime BJP stalwart Prem Kumar has been appointed as the Speaker of the Bihar assembly in a unanimous decision. Pro-tem Speaker Narendra Narayan Yadav introduced Kumar as the sole nominee for the position. Accompanied by CM Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, Kumar was officially welcomed to the chair.
