Puri police arrest 14 in major gambling raid, seize Rs 7.71 lakh in cash

Puri Sadar police apprehended 14 individuals and confiscated Rs 7.71 lakh in cash during a raid on an illegal gambling den in Khadipada village. The operation, part of ‘Operation Chakra’, also led to the seizure of playing cards, gambling tokens, two cars, and six two-wheelers. Efforts are underway to arrest the main organizer who is currently on the run.
