Qatar orders all businesses to record and update prices online to boost market transparency

Qatar’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) has mandated all commercial, industrial, and public establishments to register and update commodity and service prices on its official website. The directive, issued under Law No. 12 of 1972, aims to enhance market transparency, support digital transformation, and maintain a fair balance between business interests and consumer protection.
