The Union Cabinet has greenlit four multi-tracking railway projects spanning 574 km across several states, costing Rs 11,169 crore and slated for completion by 2028-29. This initiative aims to decongest the railway network, enhance freight capacity by 95.91 MTPA, and reduce logistics costs.
