Rail project to hit services on Bilaspur-Jharsuguda route

Rail traffic on the Bilaspur-Jharsuguda section will be affected from August 31 to September 15, 2025, due to infrastructure upgrades. The South East Central Railway is laying a fourth line to improve connectivity and punctuality. Several trains, including the Utkal Express and Duronto Express, will face delays ranging from two to six and a half hours.
