Red Fort to host Unesco meet on protecting intangible heritage

The Red Fort in New Delhi will host the 20th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage, welcoming over 1,000 delegates. The event aims to showcase India’s diverse culture and formally propose Diwali for inclusion in UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list, following previous successful nominations.
