Residents of 3 Dima Hasao villages oppose 1200 MW hydro-electric project

Villagers in Dima Hasao district are protesting a proposed 1200 MW hydro-electric project by APGCL and Adani Green at Moti Lampu. Representing Moti Lampu, Moti Hojai, and Riam Bathari, village headmen have urged the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council to withdraw its ‘no objection certificate’ for the project.
