Despite a green pitch, India ‘A’ spinners, led by Tanush Kotian’s 4/83, dominated South Africa ‘A’ on Day 1. Opener Jordan Hermann’s 71 and Zubayr Hamza’s 66 built a strong foundation, but quick wickets late in the day left the visitors at 299/9. Rishabh Pant returned to keeping duties without issue.
