Recent heavy rainfall in Roorkee caused a significant road collapse near DAV Degree College, creating a 20-ft wide and 3-ft deep crater. Residents protested the poor construction quality of the road, built under an Asian Development Bank project, calling it a ‘city picnic spot’.
