Akshay Kumar’s fans anticipating ‘Rowdy Rathore 2’ may be disappointed as the sequel’s script has been scrapped. Shabinaa Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are repurposing the script into a standalone cop-centric drama due to Disney’s reluctance to commit. V. Vijayendra Prasad will rework the story, and Tamil director Mithran is slated to direct, with production planned for early 2026.
