Rs 3.5 lakh looted from Simdega church, no arrests yet

Simdega police are intensifying raids to find culprits who looted the Tumdegi church and thrashed two priests, Fr Thomas Soreng and Fr Amanuel Baghwar, early Wednesday. Around a dozen masked criminals decamped with Rs 3.5 lakh, with police stating their motive was solely to steal cash. The injured priests are currently receiving treatment.
