SCO Summit: Member states to set up Development Bank; will push efficiency and social development

China has announced the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) will establish a Development Bank, a move aimed at boosting regional efficiency and social development. Foreign Minister Wang Yi confirmed the decision, highlighting its significance for the entire EuroAsian region. The SCO also approved Laos as a new partner and will streamline its structure.
