Senior citizen falls victim to online investment scam, lose Rs 1.3 crore

In Udupi, Henry D Almeida lost over Rs 1.32 crore in an online investment scam after clicking a Facebook ad. He invested money based on WhatsApp group advice but received no returns. Separately, Antony Richard Vas from Shirva lost Rs 79,500 from his bank accounts. Cyber fraudsters misused OTPs to transfer funds without his consent.
