Six persons arrested for killing criminal in Hirakud town

Six individuals, linked to a slain criminal, were apprehended for the brutal public murder of history-sheeter Kalu Bahadur Biswal in Sambalpur. Seeking revenge for a 2019 murder, the accused allegedly attacked Biswal with multiple weapons, including a sword and knife, after his release from jail. Police swiftly dismantled the crime syndicate.
