Soil for Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath to be royalty-free: Mines and geology department

To facilitate smooth celebrations during Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath, the mines and geology department in Patna has waived royalty fees on rammed earth/soil extracted from public and private lands. This exemption applies specifically when the soil is used for religious ceremonies in and around pandals.
