South Eastern Railway Faces Disruption as Kurmi Community Protests for ST Status

The Kurmi community’s ‘Rail teka, dagar chheka’ protest disrupted South Eastern Railway services on Saturday, leading to the cancellation of 30 trains, including the New Delhi Rajdhani and Ranchi–Patna Vande Bharat Express. Nine trains were diverted, and 21 were short-terminated or originated from different stations.
