The Kerala Story director Sudipto Sen sparked controversy by claiming Aadujeevitham’s cinematography was VFX-driven, a notion swiftly debunked by influencer Carl Lafrenais. Lafrenais cited Oscar-winning films using VFX, defending freedom of expression and questioning Sen’s comparison of the two movies.
