Supreme Court permits Rs 450 cr Naval Hq expansion project in Cantt area

The Supreme Court has approved the Navy’s Rs 450 crore ‘Nausena Bhawan’ project in Delhi Cantonment. The Central Empowered Committee cleared the project, noting the land has no trees despite being in the Morphological Ridge area. The Ministry of Defence assured sustainable construction practices and will deposit Rs 22.5 crore for ridge development.
