Tamil Nadu suspends drug inspectors after deadly cough syrup deaths in Madhya Pradesh

Tamil Nadu has suspended two senior drug inspectors following the deaths of over 20 children in Madhya Pradesh due to a contaminated cough syrup. The inspectors are accused of negligence for failing to inspect the manufacturing unit of Sresan Pharmaceuticals, which was found to have severe lapses in production and hygiene.
