India has reportedly put on hold plans to acquire new US weapons and aircraft, signaling discontent following President Trump’s imposition of steep tariffs on Indian exports. The purchases, including Stryker combat vehicles and Boeing P8I reconnaissance aircraft, were slated for announcement during Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s visit to Washington, which has now been cancelled.
