TB claims 121 lives in Mizoram since January

Mizoram has recorded 121 tuberculosis deaths and 1,870 positive cases from January to October 10. The majority of infections are in individuals over 14, but 109 children are also affected. Fatalities are largely due to Multidrug-resistant TB, with 211 HIV-positive individuals also diagnosed with the disease.
