Tea, talk, then tragedy: Bandra woman fatally hit by Mumbai bizman’s high-end car; driver booked for negligence

In Bandra, Kasturbhabai Chavan died after being hit by a car. Jeeva Munecha, the driver, had offered her tea before the accident. Munecha failed to notice Chavan and struck her while starting the car. Police have booked Munecha for negligence and rash driving. Chavan’s sons expressed dissatisfaction with the police handling of the case.
