Telangana HC reserves order on CM A Revanth Reddy’s plea to quash criminal case

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has petitioned the High Court to dismiss proceedings against him regarding a speech during the 2024 election campaign. A BJP leader alleged Reddy made objectionable remarks at a Kothagudem rally. Reddy’s lawyer argued the complaint lacked proper authorization and the speech was a protected political statement. Justice Lakshman reserved the order after hearing both sides.
