Security forces in Chhattisgarh achieved a major victory by killing Sodhi Kanna, a top Maoist commander and sniper, in Bijapur district. Kanna, who had a reward of Rs 8 lakh on his head, was killed during an anti-Naxal operation in the Indravati National Park area.
