Tragic Drowning Incident of Fisherman Pintu Ram in Chatra District

Tragedy struck Chatra as Pintu Ram, 32, drowned while fishing at the Chhath ghat in Pandeytand village on Sunday evening. He reportedly slipped and fell into the deep waters of Lotar Dam. Rescue efforts were halted due to fading light, with divers expected to resume the search on Monday. The victim had recently relocated to the village.
